Calendar publishing host.

DAFT QUESTION ALERT.....

So we have a Cal/CardDav Server that we setup for our Macs, and that works fine. But it's just for users not resources etc...

So... I want to setup to be able to see resources calendars. From what I understand I need to setup a Ssytem Wide Calendar Publishing host under Systems / Calendar Publishing...

Can I just use our existing Cal/CardDav server and set the Calendar Publishing host to be the https://name/ of our Card/CalDav Server ?

Thanks in advance for any answers to my probably obvious question. I'm hoping that the answer is yes... But I don't want to try it in case i break our cal/card dav server so just want external confirmation i'm not being an idiot before i go ahead and try it.

As before I try it if I type https://network_address/gwcal/ I get a 404 error as it currently of course doesn't exist. (edit without the /gwcal we get a response showing the welcome page with options to show directory, principles and push)

I believe so, but I haven't had the chance to try it myself.
I'm guessing from the lack of response that this is the norm, and that
that of us who might otherwise be inclind to test in our labs are
either on summer vacations or (like me) busy with project work.

This is the sort of thing that is great for a lab (even if just a
single test server/vm).
