Change location to store conversation for Citrix

Hi Guys

I've installed GW Messenger on my Citrix server, but would like to change the path to for History -> Store conversations locally.

Currently, all users who log on will have this optioned ticked, and point to the exact same location on the server. e.g everyone would get c:\document and settings\admin\local settings\application data ......

Does anyone know how I can change this at the server level to store in the user's profiles...via registry change or policy?

Re: Change location to store conversation for Citrix

I'm not sure if you ever found a solution for this issue.
If not, here is what we did in our environment : using AutoIT, we created a package that includes the location where the history files should be stored.

The script is as follows:
"DirCreate(@userprofiledir & "\MessengerHistory")
RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\Messenger","HistoryPath", "REG_SZ", @UserProfileDir & "\MessengerHistory")

In the published app setup in Citrix, we set this new package as the launch file for Messenger and it works well for us.
