Client install

Is there any way to get a user to be able to install the GW2014 client
from the POA server?

Similar to how you can for Messenger, pointing a browser to the
Messenger server & port and a page comes up to install whichever client
you need?

Re: Client install

Hi Stevo,

You can use client auto-update: https://www.novell.com/documentation/groupwise2014/gw2014_guide_admin/data/adm_cli_dist_client_autoupdate.html

There's also a web server option: https://www.novell.com/documentation/groupwise2014/gw2014_guide_admin/data/adm_cli_dist_client_autoupdate.html#adm_cli_dist_autoupdate_web

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,
Laura Buckley

Not directly like that - but as Laura mentions, you can do "SetupIP" as the
method, so you could at least give the users a URL that will download the
setupip executable and begin the installation.
