Contents maintenance running forever after Expire/Reduce ...

Trimmed 30 days of mail off of about 1,000 users on a Post Office.

When my weekly Analyze/Fix Contents Check/Fix (User/Msg) DB's runs ... it takes forever to complete.

When I look at the running *.CKL job at the root of the wpcsout/chk directory, it shows;

Checking Blob files for validity
- Checking directory FD0
Problem 93- Unused blob file (missing trailer): 4FACC69A.000
- Blob type unknown, FieldId=0
No further info available for this Blob
- deleting file
Problem 93- Unused blob file (missing trailer): 4FB0C210.000
- Blob type unknown, FieldId=0
No further info available for this Blob
- deleting file
...

It's only at the 50th /OFFILES directory out of 254 (after 9 hours of running so far). I understand that this process is correct, but why is it taking so so so long ? I have 8 "GWCheck Worker Threads" assigned, but only 1 is being used for this.

Any way to speed this up ?

David
