When working on a cluster with a GroupWise system, always make sure that the certificates are in the correct location.   They should be at the same level as post office and domain directories on a node.  

If the domain is at the following location:

/media/nss/VOL1/domain

the certificates should be at 

/media/nss/VOL1/groupwise/certificates

 

The certificates can be copied from /opt/novell/groupwise/certificates
