Failed to extract file 'new binary19' from the binary table

I had to uninstall Groupwise 8.03 from a windows 2003 server and then run a groupwise cleanit removal tool to make sure all of groupwise was removed which I did. The server was rebooted. Now when I attempt to reinstall Groupwise the following error message appears "Failed to extract file 'new binary19' from the binary table" - and then the install finishes and I click on finish. Please advise what I need to do so that I can install Groupwise again.

Thanks

If you search for your error message on the web you should get lots of
hits. Essentially, the mapi subsystem on this box is broken, most likely
has been replaced by some third party email capable application which
was set to be the default mail app.

Re: Failed to extract file 'new binary19' from the binary ta

I searched for the error and majority of the sites say to uninstall WMS - I don't have it installed.
How can I fix the mapi subsystem issue?
How can I tell what is the default mail app?

thanks

Re: Failed to extract file 'new binary19' from the binary ta

I found a fix, we deleted all the files in the temp directory then we were able to re-install groupwise successfully.
