Finding recent large attachments?

In GWCheck, Mailbox Statistics, it's easy to find large attachments, as well as old email (items older than x days), but when my server space drops rapidly, I would like to find recent large attachments.

There is no way in the GWCheck screens to do this.

I see that one can kick off a GWCheck via Rest (https://forums.novell.com/showthread.php/499329-Do-a-GWCheck-and-get-result ), so maybe there's a way to submit the required request that way?

Any other ideas?

Is this important/useful enough to submit as an Enhancement Request or in the Ideas Portal ?

Thanks

The closest I've been able to do is to list all the attachments (with the
recent 2014R2.2hp1 for better control) over 1000KB (1KB is a real
resource killer) and then use GWAttachmentStats from
https://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/14448.html
Now to just prod Bryan to refresh that code to run smoothly on current
Windows or perhaps release the source. If you have issues run it on an
older version if available, works great on XP, OK on Win7.

I have ideas to tryout with those json calls, but that'll have be when I
can spend the time on a test system, not anything production.

Here's an updated version (3.6) that should care less about the Windows OS version it runs on:

Thank you so much for this Bryan
You give us a fun challenge by not pointing out that we need to rename the .txt to
.exe 😉

Interestingly Total Commander tells me this new one is version 3.5
It works wonderfully on my Win7 box and imports into LibreOffice Calc so much
smoother than previous versions. Muchly appreciated.

Do you have a page where you post the current version of this that we can more
readily watch for? Google doesn't find any such beast and it would be nice to have
such in place. If you don't, may I mirror it for you?

Re: Finding recent large attachments?

Then, that was the wrong one! Sorry about that! Try downloading again.

I would put it at the source page on CoolSolutions, but not sure how to get that done anymore. I'm no longer developing this though, so, there's nothing more to watch for. 😉 But you can do what you like (mirroring it).

Done,
your new page with ver 3.6 is now at
https://www.novell.com/communities/coolsolutions/cool_tools/gwattachmentstats/
Complete with the old comments, where you might recognize some people you didn't know before now.

Now to update my links to this ( http://www.konecnyad.ca/andyk/gwbig.htm )
and see why the redirect from the old page to this new one isn't working yet.
