Folder move/change in IMAP not reflected on server

Hi,

When an email is moved from inbox to a folder in (GroupWise Client, GroupWise Web Access, Mobility) the change is reflected on the server and everywhere else including IMAP setups.
However if an email is moved from inbox to a folder on IMAP (Mac Mail, Outlook) the change is not reflected elsewhere.

Would this be a configurations issue or a limitation with IMAP?

Relevant OSes/softwares
SLES 11
GroupWise 2012
GroupWise Client 2012
Windows 7 / Outlook 2010
Mac OSX / Mac Mail Client
iOS/ Samsung Android

Thanks!

Not a limitation with IMAP as it does work for me using Thunderbird as
the IMAP client. Only caveat is that they messages are copied with the
original striked out. So we are more on the configuration side we need
to look at.

Which version/build of POA and GWIA are you running?

Make sure those folders in question are subscribed to, on the IMAP
clients as this is not always automatic.
