Font problem on iPhone

Hi all: Since upgrading Web Access to 2014, the font used in the message list page is way to large on iphones. Any way to reduce this?

I am not seeing this. I assume this is with the "mobile" templates?

Yes. It worked fine in GW 2012, but when I go into my mailbox the font is very large. All pages except for "Mailbox" and "About Novell GroupWise" are in the correct font size. Weird.

Re: Font problem on iPhone

Update: It is ONLY the message list that has the large font. If I open a message the font is back to normal.

Oh - this is the SIMPLE template, not the mobile. I see that too, and will
report.

For now though, see if the mobile templates will work for you. To test it go
to:

https://yourserver.com/gw/webacc?User.interface=mobile

(the U must be uppercase).

If this interface works okay for you, and you wish to make it the default for
iPhones, then edit your webacc.cfg file and look for a line that has this

Templates.UserAgent.9.id=*iPhone*
Templates.UserAgent.9.interface=simple

The number might not be 9. Change simple to mobile. I prefer the mobile even
on my iPhone. I'm not sure why Novell doesn't make it the default yet. There
are some tradeoffs. You can't access the address book or some other items
available in the simple templates. I do find myself switching back and forth
occasionally!

Re: Font problem on iPhone

The mobile template does work, but not reliably. Viewing an email often results in a blank page. I think the new Web Access needs some work.

Update: It looks like viewing an email for the first time results in a blank page. However, if you go back to the same message (from the message list) it is viewable.

I also believe this is fixed (or better) in a newer build. You could open an SR
and ask about that!
