GMS 2014R2 and Android 6.01

Hi

We have this installed and everything has been working. I have a Samsung
Galaxy Note 5 which just upgraded itself to Marshmellow 6.01 and since then,
my sync has not been working properly. It's intermittent at best and it
looks like there is no attempt by my device to contact the mobility server.
Restarting my device DOES seem to work. Touchdown seems to work reliably.

Anyone know of a solution or know anyone else having any issues?

Andre Southgate sounds like they 'said':

So my response to Andre's comment is...

Think we've had a couple users run into the same issue, sync does not
work on wifi, but it does work using the cell data plan.

I haven't done much of anything with it as it does seem to work (for
our people anyway) on their cell plan so they just need to sync that
way.

Had the same problem. Use dsapp to upgrade rsync to the latest version.

See earlier posts.

Re: GMS 2014R2 and Android 6.01

My cell is a Nexus 6p on 6.0.1 as well without any problems. However the default mail app is gmail.
You said Touchdown works without problems, so I wonder if this is specific to their mail app? How does it compare to a Exchange server, can anyone test that?

Shane Nielson Kind of alright at doing stuff with the computer thing

Re: GMS 2014R2 and Android 6.01

If you look through some earlier posts on this page, download and install information is documented there. The application will automatically upgrade to the very latest version each time it is started.

Upgrading RSync didn't make any change to the behaviour of the issue.
