GMS out of disk space due to /var/lib/datasync/requests

Hi,

We have three GroupWise Mobility Version: 18.0.1 Build: 280 servers.

Today one off them started filling up the /var partition.

srv9902:/var/lib/datasync/mobility # du -sh *

29G attachments
340K cacert.pem
4.0K default_dhe_cipher.pem
4.0K gwadmin_ca.pem
0 mob_ca.pem
58G requests

The culprit is the requests folder which has binary files.

Soon we wil be out of disk space.

Did anyone encounter the same issue?

Have not seen that. Tried regular maintenance? Vaccum etc?

Hi AndersG,

These are new servers since 2 weeks.

In the mean time I opened a ticket and MicroFocus has responded mutiple customers are impacted by this bug.

The workarround is to remove the binary files in the /var/lib/datasync/mobility/requests

The binary files in requests are images. GMS uses it to stream to GW.

Hi,

I got a fix from the developers.

I installed it and let it run for a few days and no issues anymore with a growing directory.

If somebody got the same issue you can always ask to link it to my SR #101185373511
