GW 12 on Windows, Data sync on Suse

I am looking to upgrade my current GW to 12 which is running on a Windows box.
Will I be able to run the Datasyncronizer on a separate box, or am I required to run everything on SUSE?

I'd like to run the PO, MTA, WebAcc on Windows and the Datasync on whatever it requires (Linux).

Thank you.

Yeah, you can do that. As long as the firewall is not blocking any ports between the two, that's perfectly fine.

You can run the GW system itself on either Windows or Linux and your
choice of 32- or 64-bit (64-bit recommended). Data Sync requires SLES
11 64-bit.
