GW 8.01 client always asks for password

After updating winxp GW client v7.02 to GW client 8.01,
the "No password required for eDirectory" option no longer works.
The workstation is authenticated and logged in, but the client will
not start without entering the password.
I tried toggling the option on and off, no luck.

How can I make this work as before?

Thanks,

Re: GW 8.01 client always asks for password

Hello,

Did you also upgrade the agents?

If not, check the TID 7003933: "GW8.0.1 client requires password where
8.0.0 HP2 does not"

Re: GW 8.01 client always asks for password

We had same error but agents and clients are on 8.0.1. Seems to be not so easy solved.. 😉
