GW as Mail server for Open-Xchange OX Appsuite?

The collaboration solution Open-Xchange 'OX Appsuite 7.6.0' (previous version Open-Xchange OX6 Server) is told to connect to existing IMAP(4.1?) servers, and the supported servers are Cyrus or Courier or Dovecot or UW IMAP (To some extent)

Any viewpoints and/or experience if GW 2014 will work well as a mail server for the OX7 Appsuite?

It's unlikely that it won't work. I mean, IMAP 4.1 is pretty old. GW does have
a few command "quirks" and does not support IMAP Idle (but I'm not sure that 4.1
does either). While it's impossible to tell unless you try, it's easy enough
for someone to test if they have the OX7 Appsuite and can point to a GWIA.
