GW18.1 configure notify for shared folder of resource

Hi,
I am a little stuck on this:

I created a resource which shares several folders to my users.
I want the users notifier to pop up if a mail arives in one of the folders.

How can I do this?

The workaround is to also give proxy rights from the sharing account and
configure notify to use that. Not very comfortable.

The workaround is to also give proxy rights from the sharing account and
configure notify to use that.

But this only works for mails staying in the proxy user‘s mailbox. If, by rule, the mails are moved to a shared cabinet folder, notify won‘t recognize this and therefore you won‘t be notified.

You can configure Notify to any folder you like of a proxy user, as long
as you have the rights to it. The thing is, you must have proxy rights
(with rights for alerts) to the owner of the shared folder.

Hi,

Note that notifications on a proxy account only work if the accounts are in the same post office.
