GW2014R2SP2 - new Filr integration and Retain

Hello,
if you are using Retain and GroupWise you should test how Retain will react on new way to attach files, because tech support is stating that nobody from GWAVA/Microfocus ( ! ) tested it, because they asked me to do all the testing  .

No, Filr. Well, actualyl both. You can send attachments directly from GW
to Filr too with GW 14.2.2

Who were you working with on this? Do you have an SR open on it? If
so, can I get that SR number?

Thanks,

Pam

Re: GW2014R2SP2 - new Filr integration and Retain

Hi Pam,
it looks like support of GWAVA isn´t currently merged with MF support. I opened it in OLD style manner with theirs support channel. Can I open this problem through NTS ?

Thanks

Hmmm, very good question. Let me find out this morning and get back to
you.

Yes, you do still use the old system for GWAVA tickets for now. They are
working to get their products into our system and then the customer data
can be ported over but that's not happened yet.

If you can send me the ticket number and the tech you are working with
over there, I can look into it. You can send that to me via email if you
would rather.

Thanks,

Pam

Re: GW2014R2SP2 - new Filr integration and Retain

I raised this at a recent MF Summit in London last month before GroupWise 2014 R2 SP2 shipped. I get the feeling it hadn't been thought about!
