GW8 PO

I am in a situation where we use 1 webacc server for multiple PO's. Will
this weekend be upgrading the main site to GW2012. The remote site has to
stay at GW8 which has a secondary domain and a post office. Will the GW2012
webacc be able to access the GW8 po still or will that no longer work. I
have been trying to find something in the docs on this.

Thanks for any help.

2012 Web Access cannot access a v8 PO. Think of WebAccess as another
client. Clients cannot be newer than the PO they access.

Re: GW8 PO

That won't work. The GW 2012 WebAccess needs GW 2012 POA's to talk to. You can, of course, move the whole mess to 2012 and leave the clients at GW 8 ( in terms of desktop clients ) so they will be unaware it happened. But I suppose that the issue is more one of the server being something not so 2012 compatible.

You got it. We have a Netware server running gw8. Waiting on another server
at this point to do it I suppose.
