GW8 SP1 Caching Mailbox Diary Doesn't Update

Hi,

One of our users is accessing their mailbox in Caching mode.

His secretary added an appointment to his diary which he was able to see. She subsequently deleted this entry but it still appears in his Caching mailbox. If he looks at his online mailbox it deosn't exist but in Remote or Caching mode it does.

I've tried running Hit The Road to update the caching mailbox but the appointment still appears.

I have recreated this issue on a test box.

We are running GW8.0.1 26/08/2009 client build 88138.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Can you give exact steps to recreate (and I'm assuming the test box ran
it's own server etc)

Re: GW8 SP1 Caching Mailbox Diary Doesn't Update

Hi,

The test mailbox is on the live GW server.

These are the steps I took:

- logged on as user Test in Caching mode and gave User1 Read/Write Proxy Access to Appointments
- from User1 mailbox I proxy accessed to Test user's calendar and added an appointment
- ran an Accounts\Send/Retrieve from the Test user's mailbox and the appointment appeared in Test user's Calendar
- from User1's mailbox I again proxy accessed to Test user's calendar and this time deleted the appointment
- ran an Accounts\Send/Retireve from Test user's caching mailbox - the appointment still appears in Test user's caching diary. If I change to online mode the appointment does not appear.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
