GWIA: Additional SMTP-Queue

Hi,

this belongs to GW2014R2.

I created a additional SMTP-Queue for the GWIA and get the sub-Dirs
receive, result and send (.../test/send; .../test/receive; .../test/
result).
OK

Where I can read about the HowTo to copy the mails form one dir (e.g. .../
test/send to .../wpgate/gwia/send)?

If I copy a mail it is send multiple times until it is copied completely.
It seems that the GWIA catch the mail immediately when the file is created
and send it regardless if the copying is finish.

Is there a look to the first sign of the filename?

First big question is what server OS is this?
Next is how are you doing the copying?
Are they on the same volume/file system?

Running on SLES (both on EXT3 and NSS file systems) and using Midnight
Commander's Move has never seen the behaviour you are describing.
Do you need a copy, or would a move work for you? There is a big difference
of how things work on the file system between a copy and a move, especially
if they are on the same file system.

Re: GWIA: Additional SMTP-Queue

If you create the file with leading character as 'x', ie, x1234567.000 then GWIA will not process it. After the file creation, then rename the file to s1234567.000

Yepp, this shows like the info I need. Thank you!

There are files with an 's', an 'r' and an 'x' as the first char.
s is for 'send'
x is for ? (do nothing?)
r is for ?

And with kind of info shows the files in the dir 'result'? The files in
this dir are deleted immediately.

SLES

this is done by an delphi prg. at a windows host.

No, it is an SMB-Share.

No it should be transferred to an other file system. So a copy (and a
delete) is needed.

Yepp, a copy need much more time 😉
I assume that this a problem here.

But Morris shows me the needed info.

Well my suggestion is to copy it to another location on the file system
GWIA is running from, such as to wpgate/gwia/holding and then move
them over to /wpgate/gwia/send
Or you can use Morris' suggestion.
Might r be for receive?

Either way two options of two steps to get there, double your fun. 😉
