GroupWise 2014 Install - Domain Length

I am planning on creating a secondary domain on a new server and was wondering if there still are naming limitations. I remember back in GW8 days (Netware) there was an 8 character limitation. Is that true on the linux?

Just wondering,
Ken

There's no 8 character limit in the domain name length, but there's
still a 8.3 limit in the directory path to the physical database
location of the domain on disk.

Hi,

Further to what Massimo has said, if you refer to page 247 of the GroupWise install guide you will see a list of invalid characters in GroupWise object names.

Hope that helps.
