GroupWise Client 14.2.1 attached pdf printing problem

Hi!
GWC 14.2.1.125534, Windows 7. Just upgraded GW (including Client) from 14.0.2. Situation: e-mail, pdf attached, right mouse click - Print... - Print dialog appear, pdf is selected - click Print ... and text is missing on printout, only lines. Can't be 99% sure this is GWC problem, but we managed reproduce this on several different computers with different pdf's. Not all pdf's seems affected, though. Also, users claimed they used this quick-printing earlier and no problem or whatsoever. No problem with printing also directly from pdf's viewer (Foxit or Adobe Reader). Could be some fonts not handled properly during pdf printing, tell me.
Any ideas?

Alar,

Just to confirm the process...
You open the email, right click the PDF attachment and select Print,
select a Printer, verify PDF is highlighted, then select the Print
button.

I just tried this and the PDF printed perfectly. I am running 14.2.1
Build 125886. You would need to open an SR to get that build. But I
doubt I am printing to the same printer or with the same driver as
you. So first I would suggest checking your printer driver. An
updated driver might solve the issue.

Alar and SveN,

There is a defect (#1020692) open for a pdf printing issue that may be
identical to your problem, but I can't duplicate the issue here. So
you probably need to open an SR if you need to get this resolved soon.

Yes, procedure as You described correct. It does not matter of printer (driver) – same happen with same pdf printing again to pdf, as well. Odd. (I've seen this kind of printing before (I mean, pdf with just lines of boxes), but it was years ago, can't recollect.) This not happen with every pdf.

Well, accountants get a lot of pdf's and then this kind of approach of printing out (they have to) is easiest way them to accomplish. I see same problem with a bit older build 124595.

Yes, probably we need to open SR. But ... give a try, I found from internet random pdf ... https://www.novell.com/docrep/documents/d1b8s7ym5a/gw_version_comparison.pdf
Print as XPS ... in our case no text, just lines.

Could You give a try and let us know does build 125886 have same problem or not? If not, have You option to try it out with older build(s)? (Well, sure, maybe this issue has some other prerequisites to appear.)

Ok, I was able to duplicate it with that PDF. I'm going to report
this, but the more SR's open, the better. If you open one, reference
defect #1020692.
