Groupwise 2012 webaccess Calendar

Hi

I am running Groupwise 2012

One of my users gets this error when opening their calendar in Webaccess

(D101) User not found on post office

In the webaccess log this is the error message

8:50:19, <SOAP>, -, INFO, "user" , Check Calendar
8:50:19, <SOAP>, -, INFO, "user" , Item count - 38
8:50:19, <SOAP>, -, INFO, "user" , [53505] User not on post office

Is there anyone who knows how to resolve this issue

Re: Groupwise 2012 webaccess Calendar

Hi Cliff,

A couple of questions.... What happens if the person accesses their calendar using the desktop client? Has this user ever been moved? What support pack version has been applied to your GroupWise system? Is this a Linux or Windows based server?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Cheers,
Laura Buckley

Re: Groupwise 2012 webaccess Calendar

Hi Laura

Thank you for the Reply.

We are running Groupwise 2012 on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)

Groupwise 2012 patch level:
novell-groupwise-gwcheck-12.0.2-108211
novell-groupwise-webaccess-12.0.1-103731
novell-groupwise-gwdva-12.0.2-108211
novell-groupwise-gwha-12.0.2-108211
novell-groupwise-admin-12.0.2-108211
novell-groupwise-agents-12.0.2-108211

The user has not been moved that was my first thought.

The user can access the calendar on Groupwise 12.0.2 windows client and it works

It only seems to be the one user and only via webaccess.

Re: Groupwise 2012 webaccess Calendar

Hi Cliff,

Have you tried to resynchronize the user object via ConsoleOne?

Connect to the owning domain, select the user in the GroupWise view, Tools | GroupWise utilities | Synchronize - I think those are the steps.

Let us know how it goes.

Do you run any regular GWChecks? Take a look at a Contents check for
that user. If you don't run regular ones (you should) then do run a
GWCheck, analyze/fix Contents for just the user for now, but do run it
at least once a month for the whole POA, and analyze/fix Structure at
least once a week.

Re: Groupwise 2012 webaccess Calendar

Hi Laura

Thank you for your help and advice , I did try what you suggested but it did not work

I ran a Analyse/fix in the users account and that sorted it out , I have setup more regular automatic checks now

Kind regards

Regular maintenance helps in so many ways, not just the oil changes in
cars 🙂 Glad to be of help, wins like this are why some of us haunt
these forums.

Here is the full process I've been running at my clients for years and
has helped keep those systems running smoothly

Just remember to check the results occasionally as there are some
things that the logs reveal that the processing didn't really fix.
