Groupwise Appointment as mails in other calendars

Jump to solution

Hello,

GW 18.1.1 -

I was wondering when sending a new appointment to an external user it does not appear as Appointment but as simple mail. (Also tried with GW 2014 Client) - Tested with Gmail and Thunderbird Lightning.

Text:
Item Type: Appointment
Start Date: Thursday, 10 Oct 2019, 01:00:00pm (Mitteleuropäische
Sommerzeit)
Duration: 1 Hour

I'm quiet sure this was working in former times.

Are there some settings to be done?

Hi,

In the GroupWise Admin Console go to the properties of your GWIA | SMTP/MIME tab | Settings menu | is iCal service enabled?

Cheers

Hi Laura, of course not. 🙂 Thanks for the quick hint. It's working now.
