Gw2014r2hp1 find works differently

I need to find mail I sent to a certain person. We’ll call him lbeethoven.
Using tools>find
To/cc = lbeeth
Item type = mail
Item source = sent
I get no results. This used to work in version 2014. Now that I’m working in 2014 r2 hp1 I have to search for the full id of lbeethoven. Is this a bug or it is just my environment? Can anybody confirm or deny?
Thanks!

Hi Wallace

Start typing in the name and instead of selecting an address from the "Address Book" that pops up add a * at the end of the partial name. No space between the partial name and the *. So your search criteria would look like this: lbeeth*

Try that and let us know how it goes.

Yeah, that works...it's a change in behavior...should have known to try that. Thanks for your help.

Hi Wallace,

Glad that it works for you. Yes it is a change in behaviour, the address book popup is meant to make life easier!
