HELP! Google apps are taking over!!

Good day,

After 12 years of GroupWise, management has decided to go google apps!

I have searched high and low for some comparison between the systems and
hopefully reasons why we should stick with GroupWise.

I have fond nothing yet... only how great google apps are.

Need some help here!

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: HELP! Google apps are taking over!!

No one in marketing took the time to reply to this? I know it's from 2010 but schools are constantly bombarded with the outsource to Google mantra. The thought is why maintain your own infrastructure when Google is "giving away" free hosting. No long term strategy seems to be considered as there is no way Google will continue to offer Google Apps for Education for free once it gains a significant market share.

It would seem that this would be a`great opportunity for Micro Focus/NetIQ to respond and give a good list of why GroupWise and Filr over Google Apps for Education or Microsoft Office 365.

Hi Nyle,

Please remember that these forums are not officially monitored by Novell / MicroFocus / NetIQ staff. They are quite simply run by the community, for the community.

Here's the official response from the marketing folk:
