Help LG-VS750 WinMo 6.5

I've got my first Windows Mobile phone to try to connect to the (non beta) mobility sync and am having nothing but trouble.

I can go through the entire process detailed by other WinMo 6.x devices, I do put my domain in the requested field (mail.mycompany.org) and complete the process, but when I try to sync when I'm done I get an ActiveSync Error 0x80072F17.

When I checked the error it says that it is related to SSL, but I can't convince the phone to accept the default certificate from the server like all of the other devices are accepting. Help!

So you're using the default self-signed cert? If so, that's the
problem. You have to manually import it into each Windows Mobile
device, or switch to using a "real" SSL cert.

Re: Help LG-VS750 WinMo 6.5

I would agree the majority of the problems we have had with Windows and Palm devices were all related to the SSL cert, we just went to a "real" cert and the number of calls dropped drastically.

Re: Help LG-VS750 WinMo 6.5

Thanks! I'm finding that to be the problem. WinMo doesn't let you save the cert from browsing to the server's address like the other mobile devices do.
