How properly edit SMTP JUNK MAIL settings

Hi everyone,
I want to mark as SPAM emails with:
Message-ID: <9dac7219e91368a18b24dd5a058ade64@send365.pl>
Im trying to use
Message-ID: @send365.pl>
value in Junk Mail dialog box. Some mails are blocked this way, but some not.
1- Is this a good way to mark mails as SPAM
2- maybe it's nessesary use some "special" characters?
Message-ID: <*@send365.pl>
Message-ID: <%@send365.pl>
something diffrend??
It have no sense use Message-ID: <9dac7219e91368a18b24dd5a058ade64@send365.pl>, because 9dac7219e91368a18b24dd5a058ade64 part is changing everytime. Any idea?

Thanks for help :))

IMHO no.
This is a game that will keep you busy forever, with dubious success. Get a decent spam filter and put it on (GWAVA) or in front (anything else) of your GWIA.

Re: How properly edit SMTP JUNK MAIL settings

Thank You for reply.
I know about puting external anti SPAM tools possibility. I just want to do this "by hand" - if possible.
Question is:
How put info into SMTP settings for mark all messages with:
"Message-ID:"
containing
"@send365.pl>"
Is it possible?
How to do this, if?
Message-ID: @send365.pl>
Message-ID: *@send365.pl>
Message-ID: ?@send365.pl>
Message-ID: %@send365.pl>
antything else??

Re: How properly edit SMTP JUNK MAIL settings

chrisstar,

AFAIK you cannot use wildcards here.
You could try wildcards in the "From:" field, but I'm not sure.

Safest way is to block the entire domain under Access Control: Add another class of service (don't tamper with the default class of service), but this way the messages from that domain willnot go into junk mail, but will be rejected.

Re: How properly edit SMTP JUNK MAIL settings

;(
Thank You.
I have some AccessControl exceptions. But need little more. Its a pitty this tool working like:
field: equall string in front of field value = true
not like:
field: containing "string" anywhere in field value = true

Re: How properly edit SMTP JUNK MAIL settings

Kris,

agreed, but again, it doesn't make much sense trying to block spam here anyway. Feel free to submit an enhancement request.
