Importing PST files

Downloaded the PST IMPORT UTILITY and installed per instructions.

On the CLIENT, under FILE, clicking IMPORT PST... generates the following
pop-up message:

CAN NOT LAUNCH PST IMPORT UTILITY

Can someone, provide some technical procedures to resolve this issue?

Re: Importing PST files

Make sure you have Outlook 2002 with SP1 or later installed on your client
workstation.

Re: Importing PST files

Our corporate pc's are configured with Novell Groupwise 7x. I assume by
your response the Novell PST import utility requires Outlook to be
installed/setup, in order for it to execute. Thanks for your response,
but we decided to write our own PST import program using VCF import/export
files. Works pretty good too!

Re: Importing PST files

Yes, Novell's PST import does require the OL client to be installed
(before GW even) so that would be a problem.

You have written a tool to import PSTs, Care to share it via
CoolSolutions...
