Increase Number of Address Book Results

Hello All,

GMS 2.0.1/GroupWise 2012

I am looking for a way to increase the number of results returned when you type a name into the "To" field. Our company uses an unusual method for maintaining our Address book. The first name consists of the country and the last name consists of the company followed by the persons name. An example would be (Spain) (International Import Juan Serna) *Brackets added to illustrate first name and last name parts.

If I'm looking for someone at Acme Company in Australia, I type in "Australia Acme Company" and can scroll through the contacts. The issue is when there are a lot of employees at that company, I can only scroll through the first 10. Is there a way to increase the number of results?

Thanks,
Daniel Joaquin

I suspect you are hitting a device limit.
The entire address book(s) selected is(are) supposed to have been synced
to the device and then it is the device's own "smarts" that manages that
lookup process.
Check that all the relevant contacts made it to the device and compare
different devices on how they handle such lookups (i.e. iOS vs android
vs BB, etc...)

Thank you for that! It was a clue I missed. Our Android devices are limiting to 10 results but our iOS devices are limiting to around 25 (which is probably acceptable). This does indicate that it is a device limit we are hitting. I will look/post on an Android forum and see if I can find a way to increase that limit.

Thanks again!

Glad to be of assistance and thank you for reporting back so we all
learn from this. Good luck on finding how to increase that limit on
the Android devices. Hope you find it quickly and can share it here as
well.
