Increase Proxy User Timeout

Hi,
I set the "Security.Private.timeout" according to

https://www.novell.com/documentation/groupwise2014r2/gw2014_guide_admin/data/adm_webacc_config_user_access.html#adm_webacc_config_user_access_timeout

But if the user Proxies into another Account it seems
that this timeout is not considered.

Is there a way to change this?

(Groupwise 2014R2HP1)

Best Regards,

Sven

Hi Sven,

I believe that this is hard coded and can't be adjusted.

Re: Increase Proxy User Timeout

Hm, I have one User who wants to login with both of his Groupwise Accounts
at the same time. He said with Groupwise 2014 WebAccess it was possible
to open two tabs in Firefox and login with his two accounts with no timeout problem.

With Groupwise 2014R2HP1 WebAccess this is not possible, if you login
with the second account the first account gets kicked...

Any idea how to help him?

Re: Increase Proxy User Timeout

Hi Laura,
he has two separate Accounts.

He wants to stay logged in in both of them for multiple hours at the same time.

He used to login to both of them in two different Firefox tabs in Groupwise 2014,
working fine and having the long timeout.

But in R2HP1 this is not working anymore, so I had the idea to tell him to login to one
account and proxy to the other, but here the timeout is not working.

Re: Increase Proxy User Timeout

Hi SveN

I now see what you mean... you can't be logged into two different GroupWise accounts at the same time on the same browser.

I think that you will need to open a Service Request on this one.

Please let us know how it goes.

And incognito/private window is not an option?

work around options:
- have a virtualized/sandboxed instance of FireFox for one account with
the installed instance for the other
- install another browser for a second account
