Insert Hyperlink CTRL + K

* Windows 8.1 Pro 64
* GroupWise 2014 14.0.1 Build #117118

In the GroupWise 8 client I was able to use the CTRL + K keyboard shortcut in order to add a hyperlink to highlighted text. The 2014 GW client does not support this keyboard shortcut. Thus, users are forced to use the toolbar for this functionality. We insert a lot of hyperlinks, in a lot of email messages. In our case the lack of a keyboard shortcut has a big impact.

Does anyone on the forum know of a workaround? Is there any keyboard equivalent to Insert Hyperlink using the GW 2014 client?

Re: Insert Hyperlink CTRL + K

Further investigation leads me to think this is likely a bug. I've opened an SR with Novell. Will post results.

Re: Insert Hyperlink CTRL + K

Opened SR #10944637551. Technician confirmed as a defect that affects both the 2012, and the 2014 client running on Windows XP, 7, 8.x. Submitted enhancement request #924742.

Hopefully, the programmers at Novell will include a fix in the next release, or as a patch.
