Junk filter not working

Hello,

I´m working with 14.2.1 client build 125534 and wondering because junk
filter will not automated moving the spam into junk folder.
There are some addresses and domains in junk list, and also the junk
list is activated.
So I expected the client would move unwanted messages into junk folder
by itself. But it doesn´t.
Missed I a setting?

Hi Go,

Perhaps look here: GroupWise Admin Console - Client Options on Domain or Post Office or User - Environment Tab - Junk Mail - Place a tick in the box next to "Enable Junk Mail Using Junk Mail Lists"

Exit GroupWise client and restart. See if that helps.

As I see, that are the same options as they available in client.

And no, activating these options additionally to the options in client
has no effect.

Have to ask the coworkers.
As I see, there are some strange effects with junk mail filter here.
Some reporting (also I), they found messages in junk folder, which not
matching to junk mail list.

Hi Go,

Check the Junk Mail settings - if "use personal address book" is selected it will junk everything not in the address book regardless of whether or not the address/domain is in the block list.

Seemes to be the only setting, which is working.
Junk list are not working, regardless from domain or single address

My Junk Mail lists are working perfectly based on external addresses/domains defined in the junk list, thus I am unable to duplicate your issue 😞 I recommend you open a Service Request.

No. Weird issues in whole PO.

Just seen on the floor:
Junk list empty, but 50 messages in junk folder.

Check your GWIA to see if X-SPAM headers has been enabled.
