LDAP password change not working for one user

My Groupwise 2018 (18.0.2) system is tied into eDirectory. I have one user, who everytime they try to change their password (client or webaccess) gets the message:

[D06B] LDAP password change failed. Contact your system administrator.

This works fine for seemingly every other user. Any thoughts?

In the POA log I see:

12:01:08 BE7A SOAP Error: LDAP failure detected [D06B] [modifyPasswordRequest] (user)

Never mind..........for some reason the ability to "Allow User to Modify Password" was not enabled in eDir. All running smoothly now.

Thank you for letting us know. While this may be obvious to many, it is an
each step to forget to check.
AKA: a screw was loose, it has now been tightened.
