Linux - how to move Docs to PO

It seems no one uses GW DMS anymore but if you do and are having a hard
time...
Just move your DMS storage areas to PO and be done !

See Novell TID: 10100328

FYI: We have 4 libraries ~ 50Gb ... the procedure took about 6h

Good advice, but the extra piece is you have to make sure you PO volume
has space aplenty for your documents. Its that requirement that made
external storage areas popular for DMS

Re: Linux - how to move Docs to PO

Did get much help from NTS with External documents
Sent them various files as requested.

First of all they told me DMS is on its way out...
and should look at Vibe - SLEDGE HAMMER.... (and add unecessary complication
IHMO)
Soon as I mentioned we had other done an upgrade 6 months earlier which had
docs at PO - seemed to home on on that

I did try again several times with external docs but not luck
so moved the docs to PO
