Log analysis: How to track a message?

Hi,

is there a description how to track a message on its way across a
GW-System? Is the message ID a good hook to track the message in all
Logs? Where is a description for the shotcut in the 2nd and 3rd colum of
the logs?

Ok, I have to enable tracking first.

But it seems that a simple restart of the domain has released the
stucked messages.
