MMC plugin not working

Hi,

I'm trying to configure the MMC plugin on my Windows 8.1 machine. The installation runs fine and when I configure the plugin and press the "Test" button, it says "Connection established successfully". When I press "Ok" I get and error:
Could not find a part of the path 'H:\gwiseconfig.key'. I tried creating the missing file, but the error remains. I have this error on several machines. The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with folder redirection, but we only use that to redirect the 'My Documents' folder.

What could be causing this? And where is this file normally stored?

Are you running the install as Administrator?

Hi Iwan,

Short of somebody more knowledgeable jumping in at this point... let me do some testing when I'm back in the office in the morning and see if I can duplicate the issue or suggest a fix.

Known issue, if you install as administrator, you have to run MMC as administrator. This has been fixed and is available as an FTF, however, each user will then have to run the MMC Plugin configuration once. We did it this way to have increased security and also let each user use different GW admin credentials for th plugin config.

In order to obtain an FTF you will need to open a Service Request with Novell Technical Support.
