Mail linked to a folder (big problem for users)

In groupwise docuemntation it is written that
When you change a linked item, it is also changed in the other folders. If an item is linked to multiple folders and you delete the original item, the copies in your other folders remain.
With notifylink software, when a user delete a mail, the mail in folders remain.
With datasync, the mail is removed

Have someone an idea to solve this problem ?
Thank you

Re: Mail linked to a folder (big problem for users)

I think that statement is wrong. One of the strengths of GroupWise is that
it only keeps one copy of a message. If the original is deleted, what would
a link point to?

Re: Mail linked to a folder (big problem for users)

It is a copy paste from groupwise documentation.
Try with groupwise client, it works as designed.
But with datasync the mail is deleted from all folders.
I promise you that with groupwise it is like i say, i have tried before making my post
