Message delayed in cause of greylisting

We are using GW 8.02 on a OES2 Linux Box.
Also GWAVA 4.5 is running on this machine.

We get more and more greylisting messages since a few days.
Seems that this are always the same recepient domains (a handful)

message looks like this:

Message Status - Transfer Delayed
The message that you sent has been delayed for the following:

xxx@xxxx.de (451 4.7.1 Greylisting in action, please come back later)

after the third or fourth resend the message will be sent.

any Ideas?

thanks in advance.

That's greylisting, yes. Why would you want to change anything? Those mails do
get delivered, just not too quickly.

As Peter says, this is working "normally" - the recipient domain is greylisting
you, and short of them whitelisting your mail server to prevent it, all you can
do is wait for their server to accept your email at a later send attempt.

Re: Message delayed in cause of greylisting

OK, thanks.
So, it was no greylisting what astonished me but just at the same day a few mailers accepted my mails only with delay...

I keep track of that.

Thanks guys
