Messenger Install Issues

ISSUE #1

I have messenger setup to install with Groupwise as an addon.

I have the following setting in the NMSetup section of the setup.cfg
for
messenger:

LaunchOnStartup=No

However, once installed, the client still has the "Run Groupwise
messenger
when windows starts" box checked. How can I set it so the default for
the
client is to not start with windows? Is that setting one of the key
values
in the setup.ini file?? Is there someplace that documents what those
keys
are and what those values represent??

ISSUE #2

This part is just FYI....Before installing the messenger server, I had

installed Netware 5.1 SP6 which installed ConsoleOne ver 1.3.5.
Messenger
install wanted ver 1.3.4 or higher, and did not recognize my 1.3.5 as
being
so. My only way around it was to tell it to install the 1.3.4 that
came on
the CD, and then once finished, turn around an re-install the service
pack
for netware.

Re: Messenger Install Issues

Issue #1: The LaunchOnStartup key in setup.cfg is not working in the
1.0 release. I think that it will be addressed in SP1. Also, the
setup.cfg settings should be documented by the time SP1 ships. The
most up to date documentation can be found on the novell.com website.
Issue #2: This is a known issue that will be addressed in SP1.

Re: Messenger Install Issues

Is there an approximate timeline on SP1? The first issue is kind of a
big
one for me to be fixed before I roll it out enterprise wide.

Re: Messenger Install Issues

At BrainShare they said it will ship with GroupWise SP1 which will be
out this summer. I don't know the specific date.
