Messenger across our wan

Im am quite sure that I haven't planned out our messenger architecture
properly. I have 5 offices. Office 1 is HQ. I installed messenger and
works great in office 1. Then I installed the agents in office 2 and 3
on their local server. I set up the scope to search the users in their ou
as well as mine. I cant see their users and they cant see me. (if they
log into their own server, they can see me if they log into mine) What I
need to know is how should my other offices (2-5) be set up? I'd like to
have each office have thier own agent (in case the wan goes down). I looked
through the documentation that comes with it (pdf), but it's very
unclear and many of the links in it are broken. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Bryce:

If you have more than one agent, I think it will cause a problem -
since HQ has an agent and Office2 and 3 have their own, you'll all
have to login into the SAME agent in order to see each other.

According to the docs, One (and only one) Messaging Agent should runin your Messenger system.

Re: Messenger across our wan

And indeed one Agent works well. We have 9 sites running from an agent
at
HO. The traffic is insignificant (and our links are only 64 and 128k)
so
it's not an overhead to be overly concerned about.
