Mobile interface & Android 4.3 Not able to create new mail

I understand the mobile interface is all a YMMV, but using Chrome on an Android 4.3 device, you cannot create a new mail. Seems that 4.3 has changed the way the browser renders the new mail dialogue. Chrome on Android 4.2 devices continue to work just fine. Any suggestions or do I have to tell management we're stuck. We use 2012 SP2 on Linux.

2012 Nexus 7 android 4.3, 2012 Nexus 10, Android 4.3. The Nexus 7 & 10 4.2 devices we had available have all rolled to 4.3.

Xoom 4.1.2 works fine. GS4 with 4.2.2 works correctly as well.

Hi,

Engineering is asking if we can get the following info from the
reporting customer:

Go to Whats My User Agent? in Chrome on the Nexus 7 or 10
and report what it says under the Your User Agent String is: section.

What happens if they use the native browser on either of these two
devices?

Please could you report back on the above as soon as possible - it is greatly appreciated.

There is no other browser by default on the 2012 Nexus 7 4.3
BTW I didn't get any notifications even though I've chosen to be notified by email immediately when the thread is updated.

I can tell you that this bug is receiving a lot of attention within Novell. The newer devices and interfaces do work with Windermere - the next release of GroupWise which is a matter of months away.

Thanks Laura,
I was about to ask for a follow up & I appreciate the heads up. Any word on if there will be an hotpatch available for SP2. We generally wait for the first HP/SP before deploying a new release, especially one a comprehensive as Windermere. This would mean waiting significantly longer for a fix if no HP for sp2 was made available.
