New post office users can't login to current webaccess

In the process of upgrade of a GW8 system. Created a new server running SuSE with a GW8 secondary domain and post office. Both are new. Test accounts can access the poa fine. User can't login to webaccess. Users get mailbox unavailable when trying to access it. Checked webaccess log and see the following message:

Login Failed: unable to connect to POA (using ip address:1677) for user ...

The webaccess server is outside the firewall as well. Not sure if this is a access issue network wise or something else. Has anyone seen this before?

Re: New post office users can't login to current webaccess

Try to telnet to the ports that are involved and see if that works...my guess is that there is something blocking them. However, you might also want to do a top/down rebuild as well.

Yep, turned out to be a firewall setting the customer had set that I wasn't aware of. He tweaked it and now it works. Thanks for the reply though.
