Outside IP info still logged?

When web access was a separate agent the logfile recorded the ip address of the user when they logged in (typically from outside the network). The current logfile at /var/opt/novell/groupwise/webaccess/logs only shows basic user information. The POA log shows the event ( [loginRequest] ) but uses the ip of the mail server itself. This is a Groupwise 2012 on SUSE10 installation. Anyone know where and if that information is still logged by Groupwise?

Re: Outside IP info still logged?

Hi,

Unfortunately GroupWise 2012 does not log this information itself due to the fundamental architecture changes. I think you could look at Apache logging for this type of information. I am not an Apache guru so am not too sure where to look for this. Perhaps one of the other Guru's in the forums could jump in at this point.....

Cheers,
Laura Buckley

Take a look at the apache access_log, should be located under /var/log/apache2 directory.
