POA Server Console Screen (password reset not working)

Groupwise 2012 running on OES2 SP2a.

I've reset and even restarted the Groupwise POA agent.
Http is enabled

Username and password have also been reset.

Still can not log in and get 401 access denied.

Hope someone has an idea what is wrong.

Thanks,
Linda

Re: POA Server Console Screen (password reset not working)

Hi Linda,

Check the POA startup file - it could have been hard coded in there.

Startup file is typically found here: /opt/novell/groupwise/agents/share/

Look for the section labelled: HTTP Message Processing Switches

Find --httppassword

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,
Laura Buckley

Hi Linda,

Try hard coding a user name and password here, then restarting the agent, and trying to access again.

Please let us know how it goes.

That is an old OES, might want to at least get it up to SP3 and get
that all updated. I doubt GW2012 got tested much on OES2 before SP3.

And let us know how things are going with this.
