Problem with html mail from a certain domain

My User-A is having a problem displaying html mail from a specific domain. Receiving html mail from another domain shows no problem for User-A.

The same html mail send to User-B is working fine. User-B does not have a problem with displaying html mail from any domain.

What could be the problem with my User-A? Is there a user profile in groupwise which we can make a reset?

I do appreciate for any help. Thanks!

Re: Problem with html mail from a certain domain

The problem is User-A can't view a html mail as html format. It is always displayed as text and it can't be viewed in html because the html option is grayed out.

The mail was originally sent in html format.

Thanks!

Re: Problem with html mail from a certain domain

Is it just this single user that is effected? IS it just for one domain or in general? Check their Environment Options and see if HTML View has been disabled, but that should affect all email not just from a single source.

Well, maybe the sender thinks it was sent in html, or maybe his client
even did, but somewhereon the way it was stripped. Or it was never sent
that way. If there would be a display problem on your client, you would
see the html source code in the text only mail. You can also always
check the message source in the receipients mailbox, which will prove
there's no html.

I'm +90% certain it's a problem on the senders side.

Re: Problem with html mail from a certain domain

Thank you Massimo! I think the mail filter from our security provider is the culprit. I saw some text insertions in the source code which are injected by the the smtp mail filter.
