Remote Client Pending Requests

We have users that dial into GW (9600 bps ... ya, I know, very, very
slow) and disconnect after 4 minutes with nothing getting downloaded. I
know there is mail there because I checked the online mailbox. Sometimes
we notice 1 or 2 PENDING requets, so we'll delete them and they can then
download the mail OK. We've had this happen to different users dialing
in at this speed. Anyone experience this before ?
