Restore Area

Hi All. Does a restored post office have to be on an NSS volume or can I put it on NTFS. It is not intended to go back into production but rather just be a restore area.

Thanks!

Re: Restore Area

Hi,

The restore area does not need to reside on an NSS volume. As long as the restore area is accessible directly by the Post Office agent and the users it should work.

Just bear in mind that the folder naming convention must adhere to 8.3 standards.

For more information about setting up a restore area (even though NTFS is not mentioned) see this TID: https://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7002221

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,
Laura Buckley
