Restore a Groupwise Library

I deleted a Groupwise Library that had documents in it as we were not going to use it anymore. Now some users would like to use the documents that were in that library. I will see the documents under "Documents" in my Groupwise but I can't open them which makes sense because the library is now longer there. Is there a way to restore a Groupwise Library that was deleted?

It appears that in the past few days you have not received a response to your
posting. That concerns us, and has triggered this automated reply.

Has your problem been resolved? If not, you might try one of the following options:

- Visit and search the knowledgebase and/or check all
the other self support options and support programs available.
- You could also try posting your message again. Make sure it is posted in the
correct newsgroup. (

Be sure to read the forum FAQ about what to expect in the way of responses:

I'm sorry that I'm so late to this message. The only way to "restore" that
library is to restore the wpdomain.db and the dmsh.db file from before the
deletion. You would have to do this in a temporary location (i.e. do NOT
overwrite the existing files), and probably restore a good portion of the PO to
do it. Then you would need to export every doc out of the library.

In other words, it's possible (I could certainly do it myself, and we could
discuss that), but it would not be "restoring" it back into your existing post
office without many many hours of work.
