Rights Issue

I have installed Messenger 1.0 and I and experiencing a problem with trying to get the agents to launch. When trying I get the message
"Agent
configuration failure [0xB008], Cause: The default user has
insufficient
rights in the directory. I do not want to use the Admin user so have therefore created a user MSGUSR. I have setup all necessary rights
which
is documented e.g. tid 10081815 and still cannot get to work. If
anyone
could help I would be most grateful.

Thanks,

Re: Rights Issue

Jonathan,

1) Are you running with LDAP?

2) If using LDAP, try running in "direct" mode. Do you see the same
problem?

3) What version of NetWare? What version of eDirectory?

Re: Rights Issue

I see the same problem and I'm running in direct mode. + I gave all
rights
to the user.

Re: Rights Issue

I found it, it was the timesync, it was suddenly gone.
Strange thing was that dsrepair show SYNC=YES, but if you entered
TIME, it
said NOT...

The server somehow lost it parameters, so that 'configured sources'
fell
back to OFF.... 😞
Switch it to ON solved it.
