Shared address books

Currently we have a department with a resource that is being used
pretty much for shared address books and nothing else.

I don't really want to move these address books to a specific user's
account as this dept seems to have fairly high turnover and I don't
want to keep having to move these from user to user.

Is there some better way we could be doing this to eliminate this
resource from our system and share the address books another way?

Running gw2012sp2, servers are sles11sp3 / oes11sp2, clients pretty
much win764bit running gw2012sp2.

The resource is probably the best way. Is there a concern over keeping
the resource around?

So my response to Joseph's comment is...

Just licensing, seems a bit of a waste of a license for some shared
address books.

Resources don't require a license.

What? Since when? I always thought resources consumed a Groupwise
license.

If they ever did, it was a long long time ago.
